Frequently asked

Before we begin.

How is motion graphics different from character animation?

Motion graphics centres on type, shapes, symbols and visual information. Character animation focuses more on personalities and performance. A project can combine both.

Can you work with our existing brand guidelines?

Yes. Share your logo files, colours, typefaces and any motion guidance. We can use those foundations to develop a connected visual direction.

Which formats should we request?

Start with the channels you will use. Aspect ratios, duration, captions and any transparency requirements should be included in the brief.

SELECTED WORK · AKKENNA / ANIDOTS

Ideas, type and illustration in motion.

Different messages call for different kinds of movement. These examples from our Anidots portfolio show typography-led animation, a short explainer and the wider studio reel.

Let’s plan your project
How do we choose the right motion style?

Start with the message and where people will see it. A launch announcement may need bold type; a complex idea may need diagrams or illustration. We agree the visual direction and timing before animating, including captions and sound-off viewing where relevant.

Before we begin

Clear inputs. Fewer surprises.

What to bring to the conversation

Brand assets, approved copy, data sources where relevant and required screen dimensions.

You do not need a perfect brief. Start with what you know.

What shapes the quote and timeline

Animation complexity, duration, asset preparation, versions and sound requirements.

Scope and delivery dates are confirmed after reviewing the requirements—not promised before the brief.
